Fee Policy
Academic Session: 2026-28
Gyanshree School’s Fee Policy and Fee Structure are intended to provide parents with a clear understanding of:
- the fees and other charges payable;
- the applicable payment schedule and due dates;
- the accepted modes of payment; and
- the provisions relating to student withdrawal, refunds, and settlement of dues.
Parents are requested to read and understand this Policy, including the prescribed dates, procedures, and financial obligations, before submitting the Admission Form or accepting an offer of admission. Any clarification regarding the Fee Policy may be sought from the School’s Accounts Office through the designated official communication channel.
Admission to Gyanshree School begins with an offer of provisional admission. To accept the offer and secure the seat allotted to the child, the parent is required to deposit the following amounts within the period specified in the admission offer:
- Admission Fee — Non-refundable
- Security Fee — Refundable, subject to the provisions of this Policy
Provisional admission shall be confirmed only after the submission and verification of all required documents and payment of the applicable fees within the stipulated timeline and, in all cases, before the child commences attendance at the School. During the provisional admission period, all admission-related policies, including the provisions governing withdrawal, cancellation, and refund, shall remain applicable to the applicant and the parent.
Gyanshree School hopes that every Shreeyan admitted to the School will complete their educational journey with us. However, the School recognises that certain circumstances may require a parent to withdraw a child. In such cases, the prescribed online withdrawal process must be completed by giving at least one calendar month’s advance notice. The withdrawal request, settlement of dues, issue of school records, and refund of eligible amounts shall be processed in accordance with the provisions of this Policy.
Gyanshree School follows an experiential and holistic approach to education, designed to support the intellectual, physical, social, emotional, creative, and ethical development of every child. The educational programme includes interconnected academic, co-curricular, technological, sporting, cultural, and student-support experiences that extend beyond conventional classroom instruction. The fee charged for delivering this comprehensive educational programme is therefore referred to as the Composite Fee, in addition to any other applicable or optional charges separately communicated by the School. By seeking admission, parents acknowledge that they have understood and accepted the School’s educational philosophy, programme structure, and the fee framework required to support and sustain it.

Fee Payment Due Dates
Quarterly Fees: The Composite Fee for each quarter of the academic year is due at the beginning of that quarter, as follows:

- Quarter 2: Payable on or before 15 July
- Quarter 3: Payable on or before 15 October
- Quarter 4: Payable on or before 15 January
Gyanshree School will send a reminder detailing the amount due, but parents/guardians remain responsible for ensuring that the fee is paid on time, even if no reminder is received.
Timely Payment of Fees
The Parent(s)/Guardian(s) acknowledge that timely payment of fees is essential for the effective planning, administration, and uninterrupted functioning of the School.
Accordingly, the Parent(s)/Guardian(s) undertake to ensure that all fees and other dues are paid on or before the prescribed due dates.
Where fees remain unpaid beyond the stipulated due date, the School may issue reminders or notices requesting payment. Continued delay or default, despite such communication, may result in the School taking such action as may be permissible under applicable law and the School’s Fee Policy.
Delay in payment of fees would result in a late fee penalty of Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty) per day being levied until the outstanding dues are paid in full.
An additional charge of ₹1500/- per quarter over and above the ₹50/- per day as mentioned above, will be levied as penalty for non payment of fee.
Without prejudice to any other rights available to the School under applicable law or School policy, continued delay or non-payment of fees, despite repeated reminders may result in one or more of the following:
- withholding of report cards, academic records, transfer certificates, recommendations, certificates of completion, transcripts, or any other official documents until all outstanding dues have been cleared;
- restriction from participation in optional programmes, educational visits, excursions, camps, competitions, or other activities involving additional expenditure;
- suspension or discontinuation of optional services, including transport services, where applicable;
- review of the Student’s continued enrolment in accordance with this Agreement and the School’s Fee Policy; and
- initiation of appropriate recovery proceedings, where considered necessary and permissible under applicable law.
The Parent(s)/Guardian(s) acknowledge that delay or default in payment shall not relieve them of their obligation to pay all outstanding fees and other dues payable to the School.
Financial Hardship
The School recognises that genuine financial hardship may occasionally arise due to unforeseen circumstances. Parents(s)/Guardian(s) experiencing such circumstances are encouraged to communicate with the School at the earliest opportunity.
The School may, at its sole discretion and without creating any obligation, precedent, or waiver of its rights, consider appropriate payment arrangements or other relief in deserving cases, subject to its policies, submission of relevant documents and approval of the GSN Welfare Committee based on the facts of each case.
Transport Fee
- No automatic bus seat with school admission: Admission to Gyanshree School does not guarantee a place on the school transport service. Parents must check the suitability of the existing routes and the convenience of the nearest bus stop with the Transport Manager before paying any transport deposit or confirming admission if transport is essential.
- Separate application required: To secure a seat on the preferred route, parents must submit a separate transport application. Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis depending on route capacity.
- Transport allotment and fees: Allotment of seats and payment of the annual transport fee are finalised in January each year.
- Route limitations: The School’s bus service operates on fixed routes within designated areas only. Certain localities beyond our defined transport zones are not covered, and parents in such areas will need to make their own arrangements.

Unforeseen Circumstances and Fee Obligations
If events beyond the School’s control force Gyanshree to close temporarily or suspend on-campus classes whether in part or entirely parents remain liable for the Composite Fee and any other charges stipulated by the School for the entire period of closure or suspension. In any of these situations, Gyanshree School will endeavour to continue educational services through appropriate modalities, but the fee obligations outlined above will remain in force.
Fee Revisions
The Parent(s)/Guardian(s) acknowledge and accept that, in order to sustain and continuously enhance the quality of education, educational resources, infrastructure, technology, safety systems, faculty development, student services, and other facilities, the School may review and revise its fee structure annually in accordance with applicable law and its Fee Policy.
The Parent(s)/Guardian(s) further understand that, under normal circumstances, the annual revision in fees is typically expected to range between 8% to 12%, subject to the applicable grade level and fee slab. However, the Parent(s)/Guardian(s) acknowledge that the actual revision may vary where necessitated by factors including, but not limited to, changes in government regulations, statutory requirements, implementation or revision of pay commissions, significant increases in salaries and wages, inflation, taxation (including GST or other statutory levies), infrastructure enhancement, technology integration, curriculum development, force majeure events, or any other operational or financial circumstances materially affecting the cost of delivering the School’s educational programme.
The Parent(s)/Guardian(s) further acknowledge that the School’s fee structure is organised into grade-wise fee slabs and that, where a Student progresses from one fee slab to another, the increase in fees may exceed the normal annual revision applicable within the same slab.
Any fee revision shall be communicated in accordance with the School’s Fee Policy and applicable law.
Acceptance of the Fee Policy
The Parent(s)/Guardian(s) confirm that they have carefully read, understood, and accepted the School’s Admission Policy, Fee Policy, Fee Structure, Withdrawal and Refund Policy, and all other policies governing the payment of fees.
The Parent(s)/Guardian(s) further confirm that they have familiarised themselves with the applicable fee structure for the Student’s grade level and acknowledge their financial responsibility to ensure the uninterrupted payment of fees throughout the Student’s enrolment.
