At Gyanshree School, we believe that every child is unique and deserves an inclusive, respectful and supportive learning environment. Our admission process is designed to understand the child’s developmental and academic readiness, likely ease of adjustment to the School, and the nature of support that may be required and can be provided. Parent interactions and diagnostic assessments where applicable are intended to facilitate appropriate placement and a smooth transition.

Admission Criteria
Pre-Nursery and Nursery
Admission to Pre-Nursery and Nursery will be based on:
● Fulfilment of the prescribed age criterion
● An interaction with the parent(s)
The interaction is intended to understand the child’s developmental context, routine, health, learning needs and family expectations, while also familiarising parents with the School’s philosophy and practices. No academic assessment will be conducted for these classes.
KG to Grade VIII
Applicants seeking admission to KG to Grade VIII must meet the prescribed age and class-placement requirements. A grade-appropriate assessment will be conducted to understand the child’s current learning level, readiness for the class applied for, likely ease of adjustment and any academic support that may be required.
Previous school records of the class last attended and specific subject requirements may also be considered, wherever applicable.
Grade IX to XII
Admission to Grade IX will be based on diagnostic assessment of the child followed by an interaction of the child and parents with the Principal.
Admission in Grade XI will be based on the Aptitude Test (prior to result) or Grade X Board Result followed by an interaction of the child and parents with the Principal.
Direct admission in Grade X or XII will be as per the CBSE rules and regulations. Kindly contact the Admission Counsellor at 8527639997 for details of the same.
